Welcome

Welcome to the Living Proof Bible Fellowship class blog. We are a group of Christians who do not mainly want to be known for what we believe, but more importantly, be known for how we live. Our main goal is to glorify Christ through our lives, being "Living Proof" of the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are "Living Proof" King Jesus is alive, actively ruling all things and is coming again for His Church!

We invite you to browse the blog for regular real time updates regarding class information and church activities. We are currently meeting in room B-1315 at 9:30am and would love to have you join us.

Teachers are: Mike Kuckel, Rob McDonald, and Mike Stiles.

  1. Why is there no Bible fellowship this Sunday? I am new to the church and would like to understand the rationale behind cancelling Bible fellowship. Thanks.

  2. Hello DS, First off let me say that I am not on staff at church, so this is solely my opinion. In my 14 years of being a member I can say that our church rarely cancels services. It is, however, nice on occasion to have one big joint service to worship as a whole group. Because so many of the staff have been away on the mission trip and won't arrive home until Saturday it could be that this change is in their best interest. It will give them time to recuperate from jet lag, yet still come and worship. Also with this being a holiday weekend, I am sure many will be out of town. Under those circumstances it could be that joining the two worship services into one celebration makes sense for this particular time. This is only my thoughts as a class member. If you go to our church website www.firstnorth.org and email a staff member I know they will be happy to help if I haven't. Hope to see you Wed. at our class social. God Bless.

  3. I think the above comment hits the nail right on the head. Most likely has to do with high number of members coming back from over seas (arriving Sat. mid day) from a 27 hour flight, and the fact that Sunday is the day after the 4th. A lot of people will be on vacation and attendance will be down I'm sure.

To make up for this lost time we have scheduled a social this coming Wed. night (see below blog for time and details). I do not believe we are having a lesson, but it should be a great time of fellowship. We very much hope you plan on attending and please make sure to say hello if you do.

God bless. Have a safe and happy 4th!
